Warmer Weather!

The weather is getting warmer, yay!! We love love love the warm weather! Especially our dog Scout because that means that we take him to the park! Scout loves to play with the ball. We can sit and just hold the ball not throwing it, and he doesn't take his eyes off it! We took scout to the park the other day and he loved it, we wore him out!

After throwing the ball with him for about an hour, he almost choked drinking up the water we poored for him, he couldn't get to it fast enough tripping all over Tyrones legs to get to it ha ha.

There are new baby Llamas that we walked by the other day on me and Scout's walk! ha ha once again he did not know what to think about them. The had a face off for a little while there...I don't think the llama new what to think of Scout either!

Happy Birthday Tyrone!!

We just celebrated Ty's 27th birthday! He had to be out of town for it on a photo shoot in Vegas...so we celebrated the day before he left! I woke him up around 8:15am for a couples massage! It was the 1st time for both of us getting a real massage and...everything was really really nice...up until the part where they worked on our knots!! It was like...gripping the sides of the massage table, biting your bottom lip trying not to scream out loud ha ha Ty said he felt like he was going to passout at one point...but apparently the pain is actually a good thing, because you know that it's working...and it did actually. The next few days we both noticed a huge difference iu the way that our backs felt at the end of the day. We will for sure be doing that again!

After the massage, we met our friend Johnson out in Salt lake for lunch! It's turned into a tradition that every year for Ty's birthday, we go to one of our favorite restaurants. Tucanos :-D It...is...amazing. For anyone who has never been, and loves meat, you NEED to go. You have a little flip thing on your table with one end RED and the other GREEN. When you flip to green...all these waiters come with sticks of all this different meat and cut you slices off. Oh my gosh..it's so good. One of our favorite things is also the cooked pineapple. It melts in your mouth..mmm. There is also a huge buffet bar. Salad, pasta, mashed potatoes, fruit, veggies...just food. lol lots and lots of FOOD! So it was really nice to go spend the day together getting rid of some of that stress before he left for a week of...more stress working in vegas!! :-)

FOR RENT

 Apartment hunting......it's FUN! Yup this is what we are currently working on right now. In my opinion, apartment hunting is just as hard as job hunting...especially when your credit is low..boo. I just keep thinking that even though it's so hard now...it will make for a GREAT day when the day comes that we finally find something! The other day, me and my friend Dani played a game what we called, "Left or Right" It's when you drive around neighborhoods, and you ask "Left or Right?" at a stop sign...then you go the direction and search for, FOR RENT signs! We are trying to stay positive...we will hopefully find a place soon! If anyone knows of anyone who is renting out there basement...let us know! :-)

Dave Ramsey Night Step 2

This last Friday we had Financial Peace again :-) I am really really starting to love doing this class with all my friends, it has become a highlight for me. We all take turns having it at each other's houses and we all eat dinner together too, make it a really fun night! This last lesson was Step number 2! basically...a lesson about how to manage money together as a couple. Learning how men feel about money, and how women feel about money. How to communicate better together and avoid money issues being a cause of divorce. It was really interesting I quite enjoyed it :-)

I still can't get over how entertainng it is to listen to Dave Ramsey, I will admit that I didn't feel like going this last time..I was in a bad mood and kinda grouchy, but I was so glad that I did after the lesson was over. I can't wait for Dave Ramsey night next month!

Nanna...stay.

Sigh...ok so we finally got Nanna fixed up again (KNOCK ON WOOD) It was a little over $300 bucks to fix her again...Grrrr....I keep reminding myself though that it is better to be fixing her all up now while we can afford it before we move out on our own again..like I said spending large amounts of money like this is not my favorite thing in the world to do. Me and Ty worked together though on it. We learned from Dave Ramsey to put money away in savings for emergencies and..that's what we did. We both went into our savings and was able to pay for it since we saved money for this kind of stuff. Sigh..so hopefully Nanna will stay fixed for us for a while :-)

Late late late

I am sure all of you have noticed that whenever things in life seem stressfull...something else how little it may be, has to be added to the pile...like..sleeping threw your alarm? Oh or even better, your alarm does not even go off at all! Yup that's what happened to me this morning. Sneaky phone...deciding to not go off. It's such a helpless feeling when you realize your alarm did not go off, and that you are late. Silvia came and woke me up this morning, so luckily I was not TOO late. Only about 15 mins so that's not bad. It's always an automitic chain reaction. CRAP I'm late!! Throw covers off, run around frantickly putting shoes on, while putting eye make-up on, DANGIT! Stubbed toe on the dressor, crap where are my keys?! Running to the car, oh wait forgot my lunch! Run back to the house, grab it hurry!!! Ugh lol such a fun feeling right? Oh well, I just told myself to calm the frick down and not crash the car trying to hurry to get to work lol Even though I hate starting days like this, it does make you appreciate the days that DONT start like that right?? lol

Forgot to Knock-on-Wood

So......Nanna is starting fine still. Everything is still great with that! Although...last night after I got off work around 8:30, I went and stopped by at the Studio to say good night to Ty who was working. He walked me to my car, and we said goodnight. I yelled back at him, "Hey guess what?! My car starts!!" As I smile like some excited little school girl and showed it off all proud. Then right as I pull out of the Studio Parking lot, I turn left and...Nanna went crazy on me. If felt like I had a flat tire..except I could not move the car at all to the side of the road. I was stuck in the middle of the street. Luckily it happened by the studio, right by Ty rather in the middle of the freeway, or out by my work in Salt Lake...it still sucks though. Ty came running out to me, and we kinda just stood there staring at it helplessly..Nanna looked so sad lol something happened with the tire..none of them went flat but, whatever attaches the tire to the car came loose...so luckily our friend Johnon's dad let us use one of their free towing passes to have it taken to a car place..please please please...just let us be able to fix it...and have it not cost a whole bunch...I am sure the car place is getting sick of us, and Nanna. Don't forget to knock-on-wood people..or you will find yourself stuck in the middle of the road with your emergency lights blinking.
